as Sacred Heart Center for
Native American Memorial
Aerial view of Central Park Reservoir that was filled in during the 1930's. The original island of MANNAHATTA was a sacred ceremonial island to the Manhattan Lenape Tribe. This is a vision of placing the once sacred Island into the reinstated reservoir, as a Memorial Island for Mannahatta, the Manhattan Lenape Tribe, and All Tribal Nations

CAMBRIDGE BLACK CREATIVES: ANCESTRAL LINES & IDENTITY
In the work of the Cambridge Black Creatives, is a wealth of knowledge, experience, talent, beauty and wisdom, of Life and the Ancestors. The messages in the work created by members of this group embodies extraordinary moments of life as lived on planet earth as a Black member of society, and the infinitely multidimensional layers that that entails. Also present in the work are messages from the Ancestors coming through the hands, minds and hearts of these incredible Artists. www.cambridgeblackcreatives.co.uk

I am truly honoured to be included as a white ally in this incredible group called the "Cambridge Black Creatives”.
The profoundly & powerfully beautiful work that these Black Artists create from the deep explorations of their contemporary identities, following centuries of horrific African and Caribbean Holocaust, and hugely terrifying trauma, intergenerational and ongoing in current society, is absolutely phenomenal! I am deeply humbled. L. McNeur: video maker
